GM Peace confident in Saskatoon.

SASKATOON, SASKATCHEWAN -- GM Peace has publicly stated that he is confident in his developing club. 

"I expect Saskatoon to be a playoff team this season," he stated. "We've got a quickly developing forward core; Jagr has been incredible, perhaps our best forward; Nazarians has been consistent, and he's determined to continue developing; Diss' has been reliable, just behind Jagr in point production; we've got a great second line with Passerelli, newcomer Edgar Tannahill and John Perdue - all three have been developing rapidly and I'm very impressed." 

"On the blue line we've got two promising prospects in Amberback and Shackleford, they should lead us defensively for the rest of the season and I'm really excited for that. And now - finally - we've got a goaltender we can rely on, someone who is eager and determined to improve with the team. Juandice has been a great signing, and in truth, I think this is the strongest free agent period we've had yet. I'm excited to see what we can do."
