As a GM in the VHLM, the draft is a valuable two hours each off-season. However, the waiver period following the draft can land a team a player of extreme talent without ever having to spend a high draft pick. The downside of the waiver system is your team only owns their rights for the season at hand. In Vegas' perspective, they picked up Kyle Sabertooth @uphillmoss shortly after the season 65 draft. With a height of 6'2" and weighing in at 230 pounds, the 19 year old winger has shown up hungry and hopeful at becoming a powerhouse forward for the Las Vegas Aces. Vegas is in the midst of a Founder's cup defending season and have started with five straight wins. Sabertooth has been a major contributor thus far leading the Aces with 10 points (4G/6A); one point ahead of all-star defender Mitch Matthews. Scoring at a two point per game pace will be very tough to hold but Kyle believes he will be a constant star for his teammates as the season progresses. Keep a close eye on this up and coming VHL star.
