Aces Player Spotlight: Jordan Joshua Tonn

In this second installment of this seasons Aces player spotlights, we will focus on a player who has been a hidden gem from this season's draft. At 6'4" 205 points, 16 year old Jordan Joshua Tonn @MexicanCow123 was selected 33rd overall with the expectation of playing 3rd lines minutes on the wing this season. Tonn has shown impressive determination for ice time and took up an opportunity to move to the second unit. The Aces were in dire need for a second line centre; Tonn answered that call and worked tirelessly on his face-off dexterity. He was moved immediately to the centre roll after the first week of the season. His offensive numbers have benefited greatly with this move as his chemistry with last weeks spotlight player (Kyle Sabertooth) wasted no time in developing. Tonn has amassed 16 points in 20 games thus far and has seen a his point per game average consistently rise. In the coming weeks Tonn will continue to improve beyond Vegas' initial scouting report and will become a reliable leader as the VHLM moves closer to the playoffs.
