Vegas Returns to Playoffs in Title Defense

After a runaway campaign for Vegas in season 64, the VHLM has tightened up. There are several strong competitors this time around; Minnesota, Halifax, Houston, Yukon and yours truly. For what seemed to be a clear route for Halifax to take the league title, Minnesota stepped in during the second half. The Storm now hold that crown by 8 points with only three games to go securing the top seed. The Las Vegas Aces enter the playoffs as an underdog in season 65 and will face the Yukon Rush in a best-of-three; a club that along with Vegas climbed and fell through the standings as the season progressed. The series could very well come down to goal-tending giving Yukon the slight advantage based on Clayton Park's impressive rookie campaign. The Aces have the obvious advantage on depth but the not-so-secret-weapon of HHH along side a strong supporting cast through their top six will have something to prove. Las Vegas found scoring throughout their lineup with eight players acquiring at least 45 points. Excitement is once again in the air as the playoffs are on the horizon. Vegas is back to defend and will do everything in their power to not go quietly.
