TurnDaddy 323
When Davos decided to take Winger Tony Stark, they expected to have that spot cemented for many years to come. The up-and-coming star was proving everyone wrong. Then came the "I told you so"s. Stark went missing. He stopped showing up to the facilities, he stopped showing up for practice, and he stopped showing up to games. No one knew where he was. Members of the Davos orginization tried reaching out to him to no avail. Davos was forced to trade the young winger or have the dead weight pulling them down. A trade partner come to light in Cologne. Once the trade was finalized, members of the Cologne organization also reached out to Stark. Those messages were received. Stark made an appearance to Cologne's training camp, but just as quick as he came back, he was gone again. He had become dead weight once more. Cologne decided they had to now trade Stark. The New York Americans were willing to make that trade to bring the now journeyman player on board. Once more, a third franchise tried reaching out to Stark. Stark declined to come back to the league. It was obvious now that Stark had something more going on. How could this once bright star, who loved hockey, just not want to come back? A few weeks passed after the initial offer from New York and out of the blue, Stark showed back to the teams facilities. He started practicing again, and even saw the ice in meaningful preseason time. So, is Stark back finally or will he go away as quickly as he returns? No one knows, but when we asked Stark why he ditched on Davos and Cologne he answered with two words. "Drugs, man."
