Many other players will be enjoying the passing hours while I chew through my fingernails watching from my Houston home. It's not that I'm worried I won't be picked or I'll be drafted to a team I won't like. But as I sit here I feel sick to my stomach. Multiple mock drafts have me going to multiple locations. Not know where I'll be in a few days makes me anxious. I hope that I can make a meaningful impact wherever I end up. I think my anxiety comes from trying to live up to the hype that has been put on my name. I hope that I will become a league leader in a couple years and be considered a steal no matter what pick I'm drafted. But I digress, as the hours pass I sit here with my cheese doodles, dog and wife awaiting my name to get called. I wish everyone the best and hope that we'll be able to compete soon in the VHL.
