“With the season beginning soon and the exhibition games ending the Marlins showed fans they have something to look forward to this season. “-Shannon (The Hockey guy)

“The Marlins could be very dangerous this year, they have a young team and if they mesh well they could be scary”- Bob Mackenzie

With the Marlins impressing fans and media with they powerful offensive game in exhibition games and practices, one player, while struggled to find the back of the net early, has really gelled into his role with the team well. Alex Pearson didn’t register a point in the first 3 Exhibition games, but as they went on he got better and better and you could tell it was coming. He played his role well though as an energy forward, was chippy, Forechecked hard and played a well rounded game. In game 4 of the exhibition his luck finally turned around, he scored a beautiful wrist shot goal on a beautiful pass from teammate Samuel Sparrow. Less then a minute later He got an assist on a goal by Dean Clarke. Pearson added a Late Goal and was awarded 2nd star. His offensive game showed big strides at the end of the exhibition games, hopefully this carries on into the regular season.
