Mississauga vs Halifax rivalry brewing?

By Steven Brockman

In the next two games in the VLM for the Mississauga Hounds are up against the Halifax 21st, these two teams aren't strangers to each other with the past 3 out of 5 games being played between the two of them. The results of these games have all been 5 - 4, with Halifax getting the advantage in two both in the shootout.

With all the games being extremely close and the fact that there have been so many games between the two teams recently, there is a lot of rivalry between the two clubs. This appears to be building game by game. To make matters worse the teams have been trading places on the ladder between 5th and 6th place.

In a recent press conference with the Mississauga Hounds player Berocka Sundqvist had this to say about teams to watch out for. "I think we are going to have a rough rivalry with Halifax, every game has been close with them and we have been battling for 5th spot for a while."

There will be a lot of eyes on the next two games to see who comes out on top.
