Guest Posted March 23, 2014 Share Posted March 23, 2014 It appears Cologne prospect Lars Strummer has got himself into some unneeded legal trouble. Strummer was arrested on two weeks ago by Cologne police after a drunken stupor turned into a suspected rape charge. Strummer who eventually made his way out of Cologne to his VHLM team, will have a court date set for the off-season. Strummer was allegedly found on top of a 17 year old boy in a hotel room paid for by the Express franchise. Strummer is no stranger to the law, last year he was caught breaking and entering in a Saskatoon convenience store to apparently steal gum balls. Strummer and his legal representative have no comment at this team and the Cologne management has yet to be reached. Strummer was hoping to make the Express roster next season, but this may delay his future with the team as well as the game of hockey. Source: Koln news.
