Season over, Playoffs just beginning for Jagr

Recommended Posts

Shawnomir Jagr completed his very disappointing rookie season with the Vancouver Wolves as he just had scored 11 goals and assisted on 5 goals for 16 points throughout the 72 games. It was very disappointing considering he scored over 50 goals and 100 points in his last VHLM season. However, if we are to take anything out of this is that in his first 30 VHLM games Jagr had scored I think just 2 points. So you know, maybe next season will be a big breakout.

The Wolves had a decent season overall with a 82 point season which is good enough for 2nd in the NA conference and 4th overall in the VHL. The Wolves were just 1 point behind the Calgary Wranglers for top spot in the NA Conference. However, now the Wolves have to play the New York Americans in the Quarter-Final of the VHL playoffs with the winner moving on to play the Wranglers in the Semi-Finals. The Wolves didn't really do that greaat against the Americans this season but that was without star defender Shawn Glade so this should be a interesting playoff matchup. It is the most wonderful time of the year if your team makes it.
