Block Buster's First Week

Hi this is Nat Flix on today's instalment on What's new we have Mississauga's new Goalie Block Buster.

 

NF: Hi Block, how are you today?

 

BB: It's extremely cold here today but otherwise I am good.

 

NF: I imagine it is a big change from warm Sydney. How do you think you played in your opening matches?

 

BB: Oh look Sydney is much warmer than here. Look I went out hard and played my strongest game. It is nice to start to gel with the Hounds I imagine with time we will improve.

 

NF: Yeah that third game seemed to be a lot closer than the other two, it must of been nice getting a .900 save percentage in your opening week?

 

BB: It came as a bit of a shock as the calibre of players here is a bit higher than in Australia. But I know I am as good as anyone else in this league and I will show that.

 

NF: A bit of fire in your belly I like to see that and I am sure the GM's around the league would like that too. So what do you think of the management and team at Mississauga?

 

BB: Look everyone is nice and trying to help me out, but I know what I have got to do on the ice to show my worth.

 

NF: You came up against Minnesota in the first game, who are expected to be one of the contenders this season and also have fellow Aussie Berocka Sundqvist what do you think of him?
 

BB: I think for the first overall pick he is very overrated. He took 10 shots on me and not a single one got through. I wish him luck for the next time we play because we all know he will need it.

 

NF: Well I could see this rivalry getting interesting. Thank you for your time and have a nice day.
