The Music of the VHLM
By  A. Simon-Cowell-Type

Part 8

Welcome back to The Music of the VHLM! This is the final installment of this series, and we  would just like to take a moment to thank all our readers who have been following along. Without further ado, let’s talk about the Marlins.

San Diego Marlins
California, by Delta Spirit

The San Diego Marlins had an ok S67. They did alright in the regular season, but were distinctly outside of the top 6 teams, with only 26 wins compared to Houston’s 40. They made the playoffs, but were swept in the first round by the Philadelphia Reapers. All in all, the Marlins had the kind of season that you hope would go better, but at its core isn’t far off being a success.

To commemorate this team’s season, we are going with infectious indie-rock ballad California, by San Diego natives Delta Spirit. The song speaks of longing, and nostalgia. Basically, any San Diego fan that wishes their team to bring the cup home. For that fan, we can only hope that happens soon.

Thanks for reading, and so long for now! Stay tuned for our next series, starting next week.
