It probably comes down to how their depth players perform, as well as if their top players can play at a high level. Julian blackthorn has been a big surprise for the wild this season. Blackthorn has 20 points in 18 games on the right wing to the center Nate Telker. Telker has 19 points in 18 games so far this season. The depth players really need to step up if the wild want to get some more wins under their belt. outside the 1st line as well as top pairing defender Jokinen, there isn't a whole lot of scoring. The Wild will hope that the current roster can make some significant improvements throughout the rest of the season. If not, they might have to bring in some new players through trades, or cut their loses and possibly sell some top players.
