Wolf Stansson, Jr. is looking forward to each and every passing day now. After a rough start, both individual-wise and team-wise -- it looks like Stansson, Jr. and the Phantoms are starting to click together a lot more than before. This has translated to a jump in wins from 1 through their first 13 games or so to 7 through 27. That's a noticeable improvement in Prague and for anybody else who might be paying attention.

"I believe that we are just playing better. We did not have the full benefit of the offseason to get to play together. Some of us just came directly from the VHLM, while there are some others who are ragtag pieces thrown aside by their previous VHL franchise. So other than my two teammates from the Yukon Rush, I've never played with anybody else before. So naturally there is a learning curve, some time for us to really gel together and get to know each other's styles and preferences. It sucks that we didn't have enough time, but it is what it is.

We are all starting to play better together, more cohesive and as a whole unit, instead of five different pieces scampering around the rink if you know what I mean. When we play together and click together, we're a fun team to watch and a scary team to play against. Imagine what we'll be like a couple of seasons down the road as we know more about each other and add more quality pieces that want to be a part of our team's success. That's the fun part."
