diacope 1,696
Shawn Glade's first goal It was the first game in Halifax history and they were facing the Ottawa Lynx at the start of the season. In the first period both teams were giving it their all until Ottawa's Lando Baxter got careless and shoved Glade for no reason after the draw, giving the team 5 minute power play. After 3:30 minutes go by the team didn't have much success, remembering the hit Glade went into action and starting wiring pucks at the net out of frustration hoping something would go past the goaltender, on his third shot Shawn gave an extra effort and started to make his way into the crease, clearing way and marking territory Shawn would go on and flip the puck into the net past a sprawling goaltender. The 21st would go and win their first ever game 4-1. Shawn Glade Jr's first goal Glade Jr joined Halifax 49 games into the season and has only played 21 games to date but his first goal had a lot of similarities to his fathers. In a match up versus the Mississauga Hounds 12 games into his career Shawn found himself in a scoreless match up, when second period started both teams were looking for a spark to get their offense going and it didn't long for the 21st to score. 2 minutes into the period Balentine Kidd would win a face off and dish it to Anton Edvin who then gave it to Emil Passerelli for the shot but it was saved by the goaltender, skating in for the opportunity Glade Jr flew into the crease for the rebound and flipped it over a sprawling goaltender to give his team the 1-0 lead, just like his father did many seasons ago. The 21st would go on and win 3-0.
