The San Diego Marlins had a wicked draft but were left with some uncertainty throughout their venture during the off-season. With a solid top six, a solid top four and a non-existent goalie, the Marlins embarked on the season with an uphill battle, and fought it...better than expected. Despite not having a super high TPE player in net, the team ended up in the playoffs and put up a really hard-fought battle against the Aces before they were eventually taken out. Seeing as the team had found no success in the playoffs at all, not even winning a game their previous two seasons, this was a huge step in the right direction. Now, when it comes to the returnees of that team, we have as follows:

Forwards TPA Total TPE Actions
(S68) C - Cameron Eastwood 70 70
(S69) RW - Daldo 135 145
(S69) LW - Markus Nygren 135 137
(S67) LW - Nick Kirkpatrick 42 46
(S68) RW - Raleigh Ritchie 151 159
(S68) RW - Roadkill Steve 206 206
Defensemen
(S69) D - King Kruul 72 81
(S68) D - Rebacco Black 38 39
(S69) D - Will Clarke 173 173
Goalies

As we can see once again, going into the draft and off-season period, the Marlins do not have a goalie, however they do have a fairly sweet top 6 that can hopefully get sweeter by adding some centers to the mix, and they are still left with some defenders, which is always nice for any team! Overall, they aren't in bad shape, a lot of other teams could be worse off but there is some decent pieces in this upcoming VHLM draft so we'll have to see how this pans out.
