I could care less what team's "fan" you are. It was meant in a light hearted joke but if you want to go ahead and call me an "idiot" and get defensive for something so petty, it speaks more ill about your character as a person than it does mine.

So I'm supposed to sense a joking response with no emoticon or anything? You realize tone is hard to pick up if don't make it clear. The reason I said all that was cause you took a shot at me by saying "he will claim", that right there is why it's not viewed in a joking manner. Try to writing correctly.

Never said "he will claim". I rarely ever attack anyone anymore, and knowing how you always make it so well known you're a Devils fan when ever a discussion about the Canucks is going on, I don't see how, joking or not, me calling you a Canucks fan can make you so uncomfortable lmao. Why you always feel the world is out to get you and become defensive to a point of insulting others is a mystery on it's own.

If what I said is an insult maybe you are the one taking it too far? Haha. I have to let it be known I'm a Devils fan because people in Vancouver seem to think because of the city, that person must be a Canucks for or they are a bandwagoner, so it gets on my nerves. Regardless, I am not a "closet Canucks fan" as you say. I've had the pleasure of watching three Stanley Cup victories and won't associate to a franchise as wishy washy as the Nucks. Maybe I do get defensive, but you also make outrageous claims on the board tons so there's that too. Each got our downfalls I guess.

You called me an idiot of course it's an insult, what else is it suppose to be? a compliment? Do I care? No I've been called far worse but I used it as an example of how you act because of something a child would get angry about, and try to defer the situation on someone else, again something a child would do. All in all it was a joke and I find it hilarious that something so small can make you so upset.

Well it was a joke, just like yours was apparently. But the way I wrote it could easily be viewed as insulting. Just like yours.

 

That's where my issue was, I just don't get how someone can't see that. But doesn't matter anymore. Playoffs are over, time for the draft!
