   The Hounds After 8
 

  After 8 games the Mississauga Hounds have landed themselves third place in the standings. The team seems to feel we have had an average start to the season with a 4-2-2 record in the 8 games. Ahead them in the standings is Mexico City and Saskatoon Both with a dominant 7-1-0 record. The Hounds just lost 5-0 to Mexico City which shows the Hounds still have a lot to work on to become a serious contender.

 

   Our goal differential is at a -4 which over the course of a season will affect the Hounds negatively in the standings. They need to start playing better team defence in their own end and with the continued progression of their young players the Hounds should be able to accomplish this.

 

      The season is still very young. Do the Hounds have what it takes the finally push them over the hump to become a true contender? We will soon find out.
