Perrin Comments on Team's Hot Start

The Phantoms have become an early season surprise. They now have a 5-1-2 record in 8 games played which is good for 3rd place in the VHL standings. Now I wouldn't expect them to continue tearing up the league at the current pace just yet, but having just defeated two solid teams in the Helsinki Titans and the Malmo Nighthawks sure makes people take notice. They've also managed to pick up some wins so far this season from Moscow and Riga early on so it's not just one team losing to the phantoms it's a few so i'd definitely keep an eye on this year's Phantoms because it looks like their gonna be competitive this year.

We managed to catch up with Seabass Perrin, 2nd year defenseman for the Phantoms for some comments on his team's recent success.

"I feel like what's made us successful so far is our depth and we've been able to get some offense going from almost every member of our team. Our new guys have also really stepped up and have become solid contributors almost right away this season. Having Owen May solidify that goaltending position has really done wonders for our team's confidence and were more open to be creative offensively now that we know we got a guy we can count on in net. Gebauer has been pretty clutch so far, Draper has been on fire since the season began and our rookies have been able to contribute as well. All is well in Prague!"
