Not all heroes wear capes, and not all hockey players score points. There are some players who make their presence known outside of the scoreboard. Today we take a look at one of those players: the legendary Edward Vigneault. @Patpou22 When it comes to sticking up for his teammates and beating the crud out of the opponent, none do it better than Vigneault, who leads the entire VHL with 4 fights won. He has been in 6 fights total, and while he fought to a draw twice, he has never lost. No one else with that many fights can say the same. Vigneault's willingness to throw hands gives a huge boost of morale to the rest of the team, as they know he's willing to fight for any injustice that haunts the team. Despite his reputation as a physical enforcer, Vigneault is actually on pace to set career lows in both hits and penalty minutes this season. Still, while he hasn't been rocking the stat sheet, one can see the Moscow has been a much better team while he is on the ice. Just his presence strikes fear in the hearts of his opponents. Many have been seen making early passes just to avoid the contact, and some have even about faced and skated the wrong direction to avoid him. People often give a lot of credit to Randoms, Jaguar, or Smitty for Moscow's success, but make no mistake, Vigneault is the real reason for Moscow's success this season.
