"All options are on the table," he said. What comes next will shock you!1

The New York Americans have trended upward in recent years. Season 69 saw the team make it to the playoffs for just the second time in the last eight seasons, as their young core helped them overcome a rough start to the season and ultimately push the eventual champion Seattle Bears to seven games in the North American Conference Semi-Finals. Second year goalie A Red Guy played very well down the stretch, helping fuel New York's run in a season worthy of consideration for the Funk Trophy. New York's young franchise goalie is now entering the final season of his rookie deal, however, and made some comments that may be a cause of concern for the team.

"All options are on the table," ARG said when asked about his contract status. "Last season was great, but I'm not ready to commit to anything yet. I still have to weigh my options and decide if I want to stick in New York for the long haul."
