sad stanley cup playoffs GIF by NHL
The struggles have been real for Guy Sasakamoose in the recent weeks. On the ice he's been stellar and is one pace to earn well over double the points based on last season. Off the ice has been a different story. It's clear Sasakamoose has been struggling to get in the practice time like he did in his VHLM and rookie season. Many are uncertain of his future, but he states that there's nothing to worry about. Sasakamoose was quoted saying, "Life happens. I think this is only a temporary slow down in my career. I'm still keeping a good pace just not pushing myself like I use to. Hopefully here soon I'll get back on things and really start growing again." It'll be interesting to see how Sasakamoose will turn around these mid-season personal slumps. It seems that he hasn't been seen around his team lately and some are worried about his effect on Riga's playoff run. We'll see if what Guy says is true and if he'll return to his full force in the future.
