After 50 games in the VHL, Moscow hold first place by just one point. Vancouver is right behind them in 2nd place. Besides a couple of small blips on the radar, Moscow have been smooth sailing through the season so far, with 1st or 2nd looking very likely at this rate. With playoffs getting closer, Nate Telker said the team has already flicked the switch into playoff mode. “We know were gonna be there at the end of the season, so we may as well start focusing on it.” While the Menace do remain 1st, Telker is not overlooking any team. “Ya know, Riga, Vancouver, Calgary, New York, there all up there, there all gonna be tough outs. Every game is gonna be a grind once we get there, so we have to make sure that we are fully prepared.” There are 22 games left in the season, and Moscow probably need to win well over half those games to finish first. The rest of the season should be filled with tight races, as it seems that each team is only a couple points behind the last on average from top to bottom.
