VHL Magazine Power Poll - World Cup Changes

Hello VHL!

 

Thanks for the great turnout for the return of the Power Poll last week. It was definitely nice to see all of those votes from you guys. Let’s make sure that same showing happens again! Anyway, onto this week’s topic:

 

The World Cup is well underway, something that members have been looking forward to for seasons now after the off-season changes to incorporate the Super Cup. That’s not the only changes though. Before the World Cup began this off-season, World Cup commissioner Devise, the Board of Governors, and the Blue Team decided on some changes that would be incorporated into the World Cup.

 

Two new teams were introduced to the World Cup. There is now Team World for all of the players who were not born in either North America or Europe. Countries like Russia, who were famed for their run as Team USSR in previous World Cups, are also included there. Then Team Mercenaries was also introduced for players who were not selected by their countries to make sure more players are involved with the off-season spectacle.

 

There was a lot of discussion on the topic after the announcement but I’d like to check in with you guys now that the tournament is underway. The Mercs are dominating, World is playing well, and things seem to be going smoothly. What do you guys think though? Should the changes be reverted in the next World Cup, or do you like the changes?
