Your choice of fonts are very appealing and the back glow is just enough to seperate the text from the render, well done. Not much to say about the background, it serves it's purpose and works well with everything else. My only real criticism would be that you lost a lot of detail in the players face, which is also subjective as this may be the look you were going for. Good idea to include the original to show the amount of work you actually put into it. Not a fan of the team colors but there is nothing you can do about that. I love the use of the team logo as well and wish I could do that. I would definitely add more Tigers to your picture in the future but thats a personal thing.
