  1. Claimed this on the wrong week last week. Damnit. 4
  2. I'm trying to move on with my life. Stop bringing up that bitch Carole Baskin.
  3. Review: 8/10 While the render is a bit rough, I love the design of this sig. Good depth and pleasing text. I like the font and simple effects that you used. I am not a fan of most edge effects but this doesn't look bad. About the only thing I would have done different is offset the player render to the right more and move the text to the left side to balance out the overall look. You are doing a great job and look forward to the next one. Keep it up.
  4. 1. I felt great. My line was keeping the #1 line of the Aces off the board when we were out there and I was chipping in points to help out on offense. I thought we had what it takes to win this game 7. 2. I was very disappointed. Las Vegas is a team we have and should have beaten. Run those sims 100 more times, I bet we win 70 of them. 3. My defensive play and plus minus was fantastic. Couldn't ask for more in my first season as far as that goes. My offense was lacking, but that was LARGELY due to my reduced minutes for 75% of the season. It's hard to flourish when you play 1 to 5 minutes a game. 4. No. They can all rot in hell. 5. I'm going to go lay with my tigers. Just cuddle with them for awhile and show them how much I missed them. I have over 200 big cats at the best zoo you'll ever visit. 6. Sumo wrestlers are great for their size.Their lack of mobility is a problem, but get one fat enough to cover the whole net and we're set.
  5. "It obviously stings right now," Reapers center Joe Exotic said. "Great group of guys in here. It really felt like things were lining up for us pretty well. I definitely felt we had the group to do it in here, go all the way." Here are 5 reasons the Reapers were eliminated: 1. Lack of response Unlike the regular season, the Reapers were unable to counter when the Aces scored. Las Vegas refused to allow Philadelphia any momentum, including in Game 4, when they quickly erased the Reapers' early lead by scoring 2:14 after Exotic's power-play goal. "In this series, anytime we got momentum, they got it right back," Philadelphias coach said. "It was almost like a flip-flop from the regular season where we owned them. They did a really good job." 2. No breaks or bounces The Reapers had two goals taken away over the first two games in Philadelphia; forward Damien Wolfe was penalized for goalie interference in Game 1 that negated what would have been a goal for Exotic, and defenseman Liam Flaten accidentally kicked the puck past Reapers own goalie Isak Sjostrom in Game 2 that cost them some momentum. Las Vegas got the bounces it needed, starting with Vladimir Shaposhnikov's overtime goal in Game 1 that landed right on his stick after a shot went off the end boards. "It almost felt like we were Las Vegas in this series; just couldn't get a two-goal lead, couldn't get a bounce," Exotic said. 3. Even-strength play The Reapers were one of the better teams 5-on-5 this season, but they generated little against the Aces. Philadelphia scored two goals at even strength, none until Damien Wolfe’s wrist shot against Aces goalie Nils Friedriksen at 14:13 of the second period of Game 3. The other came from Joe Exotic with 1:09 remaining in Game 4. "You think about [how] we've had success all year, it's being able to shut down other teams. Counter, frustrate them, all that," @DMaximus said. "They did a lot of that to us. When you're pressing, we usually counter and they did that against us. We were chasing the whole series." 4. Jack Russell goes cold Russell wasn't the only Reapers forward who didn't score in this series, but it stands out more for Jack who is in his fourth year in the VHLM. The closest Russell came to scoring was in Game 2, when he hit the goal post midway through the third period. "They're a good defensive team, you've got to give them credit," Jack said. "They play very similar to us. We've been on the other side of it where we've frustrated teams too." 5. Fourth line held in check Throughout the season, @Dmaximus often referred to his fourth line with Joe Exotic on it as the Reapers' "identity line" given their ability to set the tone with their physical play and providing energy. After Joe moved up to second line center, a well-deserved promotion, the Reapers just did not play with the same depth. The Aces were able to counter, particularly at home, when they handled the Reapers. Players like Joe Exotic will now go into the draft. It is unlikely the Reapers will have the same depth next year but we look forward to the new season starting ASAP.
  6. Hello Mr. Shelby. Love your show. Please give me TPE.
  7. Finally, something I can get on board with! VOTE @GustavMattias
  8. My bad, folks. I didn't realize this game involves so much attention. I thought it was just pick daily action or wait to see what happens with important players. I see everyone is turning on me so I guess this is as good time a time as any ? bad gamesmanship on my part. I've got a newborn so free time is tight these days. So what do you guys needs me to do atm to not get lynched? I don't want to vote to lynch myself so what other options do I have?
  9. Watching old hockey games with my family. The brawls, grit & passion that was needed to win back then was astounding. It was very different than today. Overall, there is more skill in today's game, but I miss the grit from the past. After getting out of prison, I went back to training big cats. I still own over 200 tigers at my zoo despite that bitch Carole Baskin trying to shut me down for good. I am a bad mother f*cker. We haven't had many really rough games this season, but when shit goes down in the playoffs, I will straight up beat down opponents. @Dilly Dilly - He led our team in scoring during my first year with 49 goals, 54 assists, 103 points. On top of being a +42. This guy is good. @Bob Helminen ain't too bad either (42 goals, 102 points). They both lead by example every day. I will forever be the VHLer with a #1 Netflix show for 18 weeks while serving prison time at the beginning of the season, to being second line center for the Reapers by seasons end. I hope to someday lead my team in scoring. I will be in the VHL. I can't predict with who, but there are a lot of potential suitors that have been tampering a bit with me by trying to know I'm in their future plans. tsk tsk, shame on them.
  10. 1. Ruthless aggression. Everyone is giving it all or going home. Heart over talent. 2. We will be in tough, despite owning them this year. Philly in 7. 3. @Protois one of my favourite players in VHLM. I play my best against people I respect. 4. I will be gambling for most of it. Going to shows at night. Then the titty bar even later at night. I do not plan to sleep much. Sorry coach. 5. Have our reporters moon them. 6. The Tiger King Cult. It has already been started.
