Howling Heard in Vancouver

Vancouver B.C. - Taking inspiration from some Coloradoans the Vancouver Wolves organization is asking fans to show support for the pack by howling every night.  The Wolves (12-10-4) are off to their rockiest start in recent memory and the team is hoping this will help rally the fans around the team.  We spoke with rookie Wolves defenseman Griff Manzer and this is what he had to say.

 

“I really liked the idea but didn’t think it would catch on.  The first couple nights I went out on my balcony and howled and didn’t hear anything.  After that though I started hearing people and had some responses to my howl. I’ve mostly been hearing howls but also have been hearing some cheers and clapping.  I’ve also heard some ‘owo’ and ‘uwu’, I don’t really know what those mean but hey however people want to show their Wolf pride is a-okay with me. Since we have had some roster changes recently which can be rough, but I hope this can really bring the fans and team together.”

 

Time will tell if the increased fan support will have any impact on the wolves.
