The career of goalie Finn Davison will be coming to a close at the end of the season with the Vancouver Wolves. Coming from being drafted 17th in the Season 64 draft, Finn was taken originally as a backup in Davos. They looked to split time as he only started 34 games during his rookie year. But, even before that, he was never drafted into the VHLM as he was a waiver pickup by the Ottawa Lynx. In his one season in the VHLM, he played 34 games with a 16-16-2 record and his GAA and Save Percentage was less than ideal, so you can look it up. In the playoffs, he was a star. That is where he first got noticed. He had a 6-5 record with a .919 save percentage and 2.11 GAA. This ranks as one of the better playoff series in the history.

In the career of Davison, he played for 4 different teams (Davos, Moscow, Riga, Vancouver) and had a career 216-193-52 record with a .919 save percentage and 2.57 with 31 career shutouts. He has 1 Greg Clegane and 1 Aidan Shaw trophy to his trophy case. In the end, he was always compared to the elite goalies that played around him. But, at the end of the day, it was a career. It may have ended too soon, so we will remember what could have been with Finn Davison.

Best of luck, let's get a cup.
