Q. Spencer, I wanted to get your comments on how it felt marking the double-digit plateau in Goals Tonight . You were able to score twice tonight against Houston and weve recently seen a surge in your point totals since returning from the WJC. What exactly has contributed to your recent success?
SPENCER ELSBY : Hitting that 10 goal plateau was a goal of mine all season and its honestly a little relief after all the unlucky bounces I’ve had this season, the boys are starting to call me “MR.P” for post in the locker room definitely not a nickname I plan on sticking ? , I want to be known for what I really do , “MR.BD” Bar down baby!

Q. What did you guys talk about going into these final three gams of the season. The standing are tight and matchups were definitely uncertain? Clearly tonight you guys still seemed to ratchet it up a notch or two against the bulls all night to put the game away. What was said in the lockeroom ?
SPENCER ELSBY: There really wasn’t much change in our game plan , all season we’ve had one goal and that’s to win the playoffs , the regular season has just been great practice. We talked about keeping the foot on the gas and just doing what we do and know our roles and stay true to that. We came out and I think we put the gas full throttle there. We wanted to get the next goal every shift . We wanted to make statements in these last couple games leading up to the real games. We had a tough loss to Ottawa the other night, but we are strong and when the reapers get knocked down we just keep getting up again. From there we just kept rolling and rolling throughout tonight’s game. We had the momentum all in our favor and we just — we executed our game plan to perfection there.
