Moscow vs Malmo 4-0

Moscow got the job done and in quick time. The 4-0 series sweep takes the Menace on to the second round. Zoiderberg lead the series in points with 4 goals and 3 assists in the 4 games, while also managing to pull off 4 goals all in game 4.  Bernard held his ground for Moscow with a 1.5 GAA and a .938 sv%. Moscow knows to see this as cautious optimism, with 2 series to go if they wanna get the cup.

Seattle vs D.C. 4-3

Seattle edged out D.C. in a 7 game thriller, game 7 saw Seattle win narrowly in relegation by a score of 3-2. In a super conference like the north american this year, you would expect 2 top teams to both grind it out till the end, and that's just what happened. Rodriguez lead the series in scoring, which was a big step up from his regular season production.

Vancouver vs Calgary 4-2

Vancouver beat Calgary in 6, which is not surprising given the fact they finished 1st this season. Calgary put up a good fight, and maybe even put a bit of fear in Vancouver because of the "3-1 curse". Hunter Hearst Helmey lead the series in points with 4 goals and 4 assists in 6 games.

Riga vs Prague 4-2

Riga were down 2-0 at one point. It looked as if the series was all but finished after the first sim, and then Riga started to trickle back, finding themselves winning 4 games in a row to complete the come from behind. Despite Prague losing, Ylonen lead the series in scoring for the Phantoms with 9 points through 6 games.

NA final Vancouver vs Seattle

This series doesn't really have a favorite at all. Vancouver finished just 2 points ahead of Seattle in the regular season. Vancouver has the Defense, Seattle has the Offense. What side will prevail is the question of the series.  This series is filled with skill at the center position. Starke and Greene both lead Seattle in scoring in the regular season, and were the best center duo in the league with more points together then any other 2 centers on any given team. Helmsley lead the Wolves as their top center with 88 points in the regular season, and will look to do some damage against Seattle

EU final Moscow vs Riga

Either team that wins this series will have a grueling challenge at the end, but both teams are coming off of 4 wins in a row, so it should be a tight series. Moscow is looking to attempt to defend the cup. a somewhat disappointing regular season for Moscow is now in the past, they're at the dance now and hope to make the best of their chance. Riga is looking to make a small upset and challenge the NA winner. Riga will be looking for revenge after losing to Moscow in last seasons EU final.

Well, the stage is now set. The first sim may have happened as I'm typing this now. Best wishes to everyone during these times!
