Killinger training for S72, considering swap to D.

Recommended Posts

TORONTO, ONTARIO -- When he's not drunk at home, doing yard work, or preparing family meals to help them get through the current medical crisis... Legion forward Erik Killinger is at the rink or at home training for the upcoming season. Hidden sources from within the club suspect that Toronto Legion GM Rylan Peace has asked Erik Killinger to begin positional training as a defensemen for the hockey club, a position that is obviously their biggest weakness. In fact, upon closer inspection of the situation, the Legion would enter S72 without a single defender on the team if Killinger does not swap to defending instead of attacking.

Currently, the Legion employ four defenders until free agency officially opens. Aaron Nielsen retired, so his services with Toronto will end that day, but the other three will walk in free agency as the team sheds inactive weight. No one really knows what the plan for Toronto is, but there is always a method to the madness...
