Schlitterbahn Water Park has a new slide, "Verruckt" (German for 'Pant Crapper') is scheduled to open June 5th in Kansas. 51.38 m (168 ft 7 in), verified by Guinness World Records as the tallest waterslide in the world. First you climb 264 steps to the top, then you're strapped to a four-person raft before plunging down the slide at around 100 kilometres per hour (62 mph). The start is a near-vertical drop of 51.2 metres. Next comes “The Hill” - a climb and drop equivalent to five storeys and spanning the width of 10 trucks. Rides will last approximately 11 seconds.
