A little last minute I realize but I had some family visiting and frankly was kinda struggling with the theme for this week, I was probably just over thinking it. I just decided to talk about my experiences so far in the VHL, I've been here for about 7 months, joined when season 69 was underway, I don't think I can call myself a veteran member yet but I'm no longer a rookie either.

I can say that my overall experience here has been very positive, what I always get out of the people here that I interact with at least is passion for the sport and a love for helping people. It doesn't feel like to long ago that I poured my heart thanking tons of people for getting me here but a lot of those same people we'll probably be mentioned here. There's Enorama who of course is the reason I am here and made me feel very welcomed, he and his AGM at the time Wolf helped me every step of the way to becoming the stud I am today in net. Speaking of the word stud, Doomsday reminds everyday how much of a stud my player is and I swear I won't let it go to my head XD But he (intentionally or not) is always motivating me to keep up with the updates and make my player better and better.

I always feel the need to put these 2 together but Hatter and Rayzor are a great AGM and GM pair and always made the Storm locker room feel welcoming, and as goalie it was awesome having to leaders who both have goalies themselves. And of course Peace, the current GM of the Legion has been some I've relied on since I joined the team, anything I'm feeling a little down I've always felt comfortable talking to him, he's helped me a number of times and it's help me keep up with my updating.

Lastly part of whats great with the VHL community, and this kinda goes in with the roleplaying aspect but having a rival is a lot of fun and as I've said before keeps me more engaged. Slapshotdragon is my goalie rival and I'm glad I joined when I did, enjoy every match against the guy, I'll also mention Darkspyro, I think our players need to meet in the playoffs or something to really get a rivalry going but the 3 of us are the goalies of the Canadian teams so there is that.

If it wasn't for these people the VHL wouldn't be the same for me and I don't know if I'd still be here. Their passion and open arms has help me make my player what he is and in term I feel important to a team, to the league even. I can't thank them enough and I'm sure there's plenty of other community members out there just like them, so to all of you, thank you!

And if he was still around, I know I and may others would still be thanking Elmebeck to for his love the league, he will never be forgotten.

(word count 526, I'll be honest I'm not exactly happy with this post but I wanted to get it done, My next MS will be much better)
