Kasey Tamm grew up in Oslo, Norway, and always had a strong love for hockey. Oslo was a booming hockey city, boasting their own professional club, Tamm's favorite childhood team, Furuset Ishockey. KT was always a natural athlete, and he had already played football, baseball, and basketball before his 13th birthday. Hockey was by far the most competitive sport in the region, and Kasey had only played hockey for fun before high school. His friends all urged him to try out for the high school team, as he was consistently outperforming older players in their pickup games. Tamm agreed, but had no idea the journey that he was about to embark upon.

Tamm had an abundance of natural ability. He was also an extremely smart kid, and had picked up a lot of details of the game just from watching Furuset since birth. Once he started his young high school career and received actual coaching, his abilities started to shine. While he did not get much ice time as a freshman, Tamm was one of two sophomores to play consistent minutes. By the end of that year, KT has solidified his spot as a 1st line wing. His scoring ability was unmatched across the league, and his control of the puck was something to behold. His stick truly seemed to be an extension of his body. His final year of high school, Tamm scored a ridiculous 52 goals to go along with 23 assists, totaling a whopping 75 points. He was by far the best high school player in his area.

But Tamm dreamed bigger. The VHL had always been a dream, but an unrealistic one. As a player that did not play real organized hockey more than five years, Tamm could have been a massive bust. Instead, he put in loads of work, day in and day out. During his final season, he grew as a scorer, but more importantly developed his secondary skills to a much higher level. KT grew as a playmaker, and also a defender. He put in extra hours of time after practices just skating, developing his speed and endurance. As his senior season started to wind down, Tamm had accepted that this would likely be the end of his young career. What he did not expect was to go viral on TSN as well as ESPN after scoring six goals in one game to go with an assist. After his great showing, multiple VHLM GMs started to take notice. He has since moved to the United States, and looks forward to making his mark in the VHL sooner rather than later.
