Eagles named top 10

Earlier today it was announced that Greg Eagles is in the top 10 for top players in the league. Last season he was 7th and this season he has dropped to 9th

 

" It's great to hear that people think I am top 10 in the league, its always an honor to hear that. I have been working hard and it is showing " Said Eagles " but in the grand scheme of things I just want to get Riga another cup. I have maybe this season and next season left in my career and I just want to win those cups before its time to hang them up.

By being named 9th best, this also makes Eagles 2nd best goalie in the league, only being beat out by Rayz Funk who finished 7th overall. These goalies have always been going back and forth in Cup and Award wins since they were drafted.

Eagles is also off to a great start this season as he sits at a 4-2 record with a .948 save percentage and a 1.64 GAA. This currently has Eagles as the top goalie stat wise in the league. There is still lots of games to play so this may change.

Hello, it is me your VHFL drafter, I want to congratulate you on being the first Goalie drafted in Group 2. What does this mean? It means you are #1. From goalie to goalie I thought you deserved another award! It also reads, "1st goalie drafted in the S73 VHFL Group 2". So again congratulations!
