In today's VHLM we have some incredible talent, many players we've already heard a lot about. But what about the players who aren't yet performing as well as they could? Players who are active with low tpe totals? Well today I'll be taking a look at three prospects in the VHLM to look at this season. To reiterate, this is NOT a superstar list. This list is to shine a little light on players who may not be getting a lot of ice time and are still developing!

3. Chase Crosby This defenseman came into the Las Vegas Ace's team as a free agent, and has a TPE value of 62, though he's still at a low point total Crosby has put up 6 points in 9 games with Vegas. I personally think this kid has some talent, however his tpe value has yet to increase from his first day so for now I'm going to keep him on the number three spot on this list. Chase is putting up decent points, but the motivation doesn't seem to be there as much as it could be. I hope to see Chase grow into a star player, I'd much prefer him to be a gem of a free agent than a bust. Personally I was hesitant to put him on this list, however I can't ignore his stats, and it's likely he'll be paired up with Akerstrom on the defensive pair, a defenseman also picked up in free agency by Vegas yesterday. Only time will tell if I was right to put Chase on this list, we'll see soon enough if he was a gem or bust.

2. Nicholas Sunderbruch This is the last Vegas player on the list I promise. Clocking in at around 72 tpe Nicholas is a strong prospect that's shown much interest in the league and the sport as a whole. Nicholas is a left winger for the Las Vegas Ace's on the third line. Though rumor has it he'll soon be playing on the penalty kill unit once he's more defensively capable. Nicholas only has one point in nine games, Nicholas is sitting steadily at a +1, and getting around 10 minutes of ice time per game. That's sure to change as he develops more as a player. Nicholas certainly has high hopes for himself and his team. He is determined to go 1st overall in the next seasons draft, though he says he wouldn't mind going later as a way to stay with the Ace's for longer. Nicholas is determined and will stop at nothing to make sure that he and his team succeeds and for that he's earned a spot on this list. He may not be performing as well as he wants, but that's subject to change as time progresses. Nicholas is absolutely a player I would keep my eyes on.

1. Kirk Holloway This player shows much promise, especially playing on a team with such incredible talent. Kirk is sure to develop into a star player. His stats may leave a little to be desired putting up 1 point in 11 games. However he's sitting pretty on top of a +8 average. With such star power surrounding him Kirk is sure to develop strongly. Coming in at around 82 tpe he's absolutely developing well. Kirk played 46 games last season with Ottawa and put up 22 points with a -16 average. Kirk has only 1 shot this season and it's a goal, the man isn't getting much ice time but that's only because of the raw talent on this Miami team. A team undefeated in regulation, with MANY players over 200 tpe and many trailing closely behind. It's very easy to be outshined like that when your team is so good. Kirk will absolutely make the VHL and do well as a major league player. I have nothing but high expectations for this kid and will be following his career closely. I recommend anyone reading this to do the same.

That about wraps this top three list up, but I absolutely look forward to continuing this series later this week when I give my weekly power ranking update. Thank you all very much for tuning in, this was Nick on Nick's thoughts. I've been thinking of names for this segment but I'm drawing blanks, if any of you would like to give feedback on a better name feel free to comment and let me know! I hope you all have a wonderful day/night and stay awesome. Until next time.

Nice Vegas love, I agree with what you said about Holloway as I played with him in Ottawa last year, he’s a great player just getting outshined, you making this a weekly thing?, the only thing I question is why not 5 prospects but that’s the only thing that brings you down  great job

rating 9.5/10
