So there's a thing I've been noticing ever since I joined the VHL, something that's been bothering me a tad bit. Now that I'm an AGM, I finally have a chance to change things up. What I'm talking about of course, is about the team press conferences.

There's one thing I want to make clear. I have no real issues with the questions being asked. I think AGMs and GMs do a great job in asking thought-provoking questions. Another thing I like to say is that I love doing pressers. I think it's just fun asking the players questions as I often find them interesting. Some are pretty basic but there's always that one or two that give you some extra thought. From what I have experienced at least. No the thing I have an issue about is the presentation.

From what I've seen, most AGMs or GMs if there isn't one just slap on questions, albeit good ones, and then call it a day. Where's the presentation? Some make an effort to bold out some text or maybe even add some colour, but still. I wish things looked a bit more nicer. Some may say that they don't get paid enough for this shit and I can...kinda honestly agree but at least put some effort. For starters, I'm not asking to make things professional as fuck, but rather to make them at least look nice. An example is perhaps playing with the text alignment, maybe adding some colour to your text. Bold or italicize some of the text, maybe even underline. Change the text size perhaps if you're doing a heading.

3) Question...

This format I use provides a neat presentation that allows people to read the questions easily whilst making it look nice in the process. The bold text for week ending allows players to see when is the presser made despite the smaller text, though it can be removed entirely since people should know when pressers are up. I know for a fact that some players like copying or quoting the questions then pasting them in for their response. The spaces between the questions give room for players like me who use that format. If you're extra like me, you may consider adding a graphic sometime soon. Just to add a little bit more if you wanna go that far.

All I want to say is to put a little more effort other than slapping some questions, maybe make things look a little more neat or good looking. I know it's a bit of a challenge enough to think of material to ask your roster players in the first place. Something that I've had to struggle with when doing my first presser and it's also I can improve on. I've been told that pressers are basically an AGM's pay, and It's a matter of personal preference but if wanna do your job, you gotta do it right or at least good. This is something to just kinda keep in mind the next time you do a presser. It's something I've noticed and I wanna just put my thoughts out now that I actually have to make pressers rather than answer them.

(Also I don't get paid enough for this shit XD)

Speaking personally as an AGM I agree with you but definitely understand why it happens for most as it does now. I generally like to throw in a couple fun questions, maybe some thoughts before I start the Presser but ultimately it comes down to time for me. You can tell when I really didn't have time and it is more basic and to the point. I also think it would be a benefit to get feedback from your team. Some people like that it's to the point, some want to add stuff or have their own ideas. It all depends.
