The Art of War 5: No longer a media spot

Ah the VHLM's Founder's Cup Finals. It was unfortunate to see my team go out early and not even get a chance to make it this far, but nevertheless, the finals is still something fun to watch. Especially live. It just so happens that the Miami Marauders and Minnesota Storm was set to face off each other during this time. With my season over, I decided to buy tickets for the games and cheer for the team I want to win. Some may recall that I'm good friends with Patrik Laine, one of Miami's forwards. So you'd think I'd be a supportive friend and cheer him on right? Well, if you've learned anything from these TAoW articles, I'm the kind of friend that's an asshole. No I did not sabotage the Marauders, that's dumb. But what I did was go to every game, and held out large banners either insulting Miami or my good buddy Patty Laine. It's not really a prank per say, but I did hear a few comments about it in post-game interviews. I made sure that the cameras noticed me by seating at areas I can show off my signs and get them on the arena's Jumbotron. I also may have started arena chants in Minnesota. That too.

 

Of course I didn't want to be too much of an asshole to my buddy, so I prepared a little gift for him once I knew that Minnesota was gonna win the series. I bought a ton of ice cream tubs and before the game started. It was Game 5 so Miami should have the home ice. I found out which car was Laine's and then waited for when the game was nearing it's end. Then I went back and brought all the ice cream tubs to his car and made a sort of wall of ice cream surrounding it. I also left a sticky note that read "Wanna hit the pub?" on the ice cream wall so we could get a drink before we left for the offseason tournament. I think he's still a bit pissed at me, which I can't blame him. So sorry @PatrikLaine XD.
