Telker excited with Lahtinen

Earlier this week, Moscow acquired C Lahtinen from the Wranglers. If you looked at the Moscow lineup even before this trade, you wouldn’t think that centre would be the first position that they need to fill. The more I think about this trade, the more it makes sense. A high caliber centre will change the scoring dynamic in Moscow completely, which has been pretty flat and below average the past couple season. “I remember when Jet was on the team, he was the heart and soul. Lahtinen will bring us to that next level in a hurry.” Telker said. This season has been on the back of the minds of the analytical junkies (aka me). But this is a high skilled player, and adding a player of his caliber shows that @Victor has faith in the rest of the core. Moscow have achieved lots with many centres in the past, so there shouldn’t be a big worry about centres on the wing.
