Looking ahead

After a very interesting and fun season with San Diego, John Merrick now gets his chance to grow with a great team, Toronto. Leaving his friends in San Diego isn't easy, the team was a class act. The time has come to move on and start a career in the big league. Although the bar is set low, John Merrick hopes to improve greatly over his rookie season and start to make his mark in the league. It won't be easy, but that just pushes players to be better. The drive to succeed is high, and the work will be done to improve. Both on a personal level and team level.

 

Toronto will be a fun team to play on. Well lead, great players and a long history, what a perfect team to start a career. I know it won't be easy, but with the commitment from the GM and the roster players, it should be a good learning season with some success. Let the games begin.
