He has had a great week and is hoping keep the momentum going. 2ND JACQUES LAFONTAINE @SlapshotDragon 11GP 6-5-0 2.18GAA .926SV% 1 SO Lafontaine started the season with a 1-3-0 record. Which was unfortunately not due to poor goaltending. His strong play is paying off as he has gone 5-2-0 since. He just recently picked up his first shutout of the season in a 2-0 win vs Toronto. His numbers are continously improving. 3rd LUKE THORNTON @Jtv123 GP11 G2 A6 PTS 8 +3 HITS 47 Calgary's 11th overall pick has impressed since taking the ice in game 1. Coming off a recent 2 goal game vs rival Seattle. Not only is the rookie impressive in the offensive zone but he likes to hit. Luke Thornton's 47 hits is leading the Wranglers and puts him top 10 in the league in the category. Don't get in this kids way !!
