Motzaburger 1,590 Posted June 17, 2014 Share Posted June 17, 2014 Lukas Nykvist came late into the VHLM season with Yukon and is steadily improving. He continues to impress scouts in the VHL and has risen to the number 18 spot in the rankings for the upcoming draft. It wouldn’t surprise many if he rose even higher. Seen below are his statistics so far: GP G A PTS +/- 27 5 10 15 30 With these numbers that continue to improve steadily, Nykvist has no where to go but up. This soon to be super-star has become one of the most intriguing picks to jump into the VHL draft. Nyquist has a lot of excitement that is driving him to succeed (translated below): "Jag tycker om att komma att spela här i kylan Yukon och jag spelar bra hockey just nu. Jag hoppas att mitt spel kan fortsätta bli bättre och bli en dominerande aktör på kort tid. Jag uttrycka många tack till Yukon och VHLM för att ge mig möjlighet att växa med dem, och jag ser fram emot tiden som kommer under de närmaste åren. Jag säger på svenska nu." “ I enjoy coming to play here in the cold Yukon and I play good hockey right now. I hope my play can continue be better and become a dominant player in short time.
