For my dream team I decided to piggy back off what my GM Peace did and use a team I was apart of, in this case the season 70 Minnesota Storm. Yes the team wasn't as crazy good as the season 69 Saskatoon Wild but the S70 Storm still had a record of 61-8-3, only team that season to have less than 10 regulation losses and the fewest goals against at 152. We were the only team to finish with over 60 wins and had 125 points at the end of the season. Much like the S69 Wild we only lost 2 games in the playoffs, sweeping aside the Las Vegas Aces and Houston Bulls, and our only 2 losses game from the Ottawa Lynx in the final round. Truly a fantastic team and I will choose my 3 forwards, 2 defensemen and 1 goalie from that team.

Center

Playing center I have Leon Gutzwiler, playing all 72 games and scoring the third most goals on the team with 44, sixth for most assists with 60 for a total of 104 points and fifth overall. He's a pretty clutch player to, third on power play points with 38, 11 power play goals and lead the team with 27 power play assists, two short handed points, both being assists and 10 game winning goals, only one behind his brother. Needless to say a great player who I haven choice because of who I have chosen for the left wing. He threw 105 hits as well.

In the playoffs He lead the team in goals with 11, had 10 assists for 21 points. He scored 6 power play points, 5 assists and 1 goal. He had 1 hat trick and scored 2 game winners.

Left Wing

Playing left wing and the brother of Leon, it's Gabriel Gutzwiler. Scoring the most points on the team with 137, he was also the goals leader with 63 and third in assists with 74. He was very deadly on the power play, scoring the most with 40 power play points, tied with teammate Danny DeYeeto for most power play goals at 16, and had the second most power play assists at 24. He had 1 short handed goal and assists and had the most game winning goals at 11. Also worth noting he had 6 hat tricks that season, at least double of the next closes teammates and threw 108 hits.

Playoff wise he tied for second most points with 22, 13 assists and 9 goals. He had 7 power play points, 4 goals and 3 assists. He scored 2 game winners.

Right Wing

For my right wing I went with a teammate that also played with me in Halifax, Ben Storm. I didn't just choose him for that though, he played 1 less game than than the full 72 which I know isn't much of a difference but was still second in points on the team with 115, second in assists with 75 and still hit the 40 goal mark. He was forth in power play points at 34, having 13 goals and 21 assists to place him third and forth respectively. He was easily the most dangerous short handed, scoring 4 short handed goals and 1 assist, he made it feel like his team was on the power play when they were short handed. Final note that he also knew how to play the defense side as well, throwing 104 hits and blocking 74 shots for third on the team, that's really good for a forward.

Storm lead his team in the playoffs in terms of assists, having 17, scoring 5 goals to tie Gabriel in playoff points at 22. 5 power play points, 4 goals and 1 assist and 2 game winning goals.

Defensemen #1

Danny DeYeeto at times felt more like a forward than a defensemen, scoring 114 for third on the team in his 72 games. He scored 38 goals to place just under Storm but lead the team in assists with 76. He was not one to ignore on the power play either scoring the second most with 39 points, third in power play assists at 23 and tying for most power play goals at 16 as mentioned before. He scored 1 short handed goal and had 6 game winning goals. That's all well and good but he is a defensmen right? He had the second most shots blocked at 93 and lead the team in penalty minutes, being the only one to pass 100, with 138 total and had a bone crushing 253 hits, 101 more hits than his next closest teammate. Very good all around player.

DeYeeto lead his team with hits at 76 and had the second most shots blocked with 16. Points wise he had 11, 10 assists and 1 goal, he also scored 2 power play assists.

Defensemen #2

Moving onto a more proper defensemen, Alex Armstrong was the leader in shots blocked with 95 but he still brought that offense one would want, scoring 79 points for 7th on the team, scoring 55 assist and 24 goals. On the power play he scored 12 goals and 13 assists for 25 total points. He also threw 79 hits and had 7 game winning goals showing he knew when to score those important goals.

With the most shots blocked in the playoffs, Armstrong scored 19 points, 10 goals tying for second most and 1 assist. On the power play he had 8 points, 5 goals and 3 assists. He also scored 2 game winners and had one hat trick.

Goalie

This should be no surprise, it's yours truly of course, Jaxx Hextall. Starting every single match I gathered up 61 wins, 8 looses and 3 over time looses. I had a goals against average of 2.09 and save percentage of .899 which was third overall in the league. I faced 1469 shots with only 151 getting by me, also had 3 assists. Also won the Benoit Devereux and Skylar Rift trophies that season.

In the playoffs I won all 12 games, had 3 shutouts, no regulation looses and 2 over time looses. A save percentage of .907 and a goals against avergae of 2.22. Also had 1 assist.
