WJC disappointment

The WJC has come to a close with the awards given out today. Blazzer and Lee Xin were not seen at the awards ceremony after landslide loss to the other teams. Blazzer took on a difficult to coach with everyone coming from different backgrounds and playing style. With her first GM'ing experience coming from the international stages, she melted under pressure. On a good note, she reunited Lee Xin. The pair showed to have some sort of chemistry still with Lee having 3 points in the quarter-finals. We managed to get a glimpse of Blazzer and Lee having coffee at the hotel cafe after the game that got them eliminated. 

 

Many still wonder why the duo were not seen at the WJC awards presentation. Were they disappointed? Mad at their performances? Or simply had to run errands? We managed to talk to Lee on a virtual meeting yesterday evening. WJC was fun and exciting. I'm happy to get selected again and perform better than the previous WJC. It just shows that I've improved a lot more under the coaching of the Chicago staff. Well, you guys sure want me to tell why I wasn't there. So I actually had to fly back to Chicago for the VHL games. A loss and a win but we're all good there. Blazzy had to fly to Yukon cause they had 3 games in their hands and she obviously had to get sleep. No grudges held for the losses tbh. They were all close games.
