Killinger pleased with Toronto's second effort.

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON -- The Legion haven't quite boarded the plane back to Canada just yet, but it wouldn't have mattered anyway, as their confidence is already soaring through the sky following a 4-3 victory over the Seattle Bears that knotted the series up at one apiece; Seattle took game one, 5-2, and jumped ahead in the series 1-0. Killinger produced three points in those two outings, but his negative +/- tell a more complete story. In the game one 5-2 defeat, Toronto was unable to get any traction against the sturdy Bears team, and the majority of their players were simply snuffed out of the offensive zone when it mattered most.

In the second game though, it seemed like everything came together, and Toronto secured that 4-3 victory after a strong display in the second and third periods. Two powerplay goals, including the game winning goal by Raleigh Ritchie -- his third of the evening, actually! -- propelled the Legion above the competition. The third period was all TOR, as the club outshot Seattle 16-4 on what was mostly five on five hockey.

"I'm quite pleased," Killinger said. "I thought we bounced back from game one really well, and I'm confident we can take this momentum home with us for games three and four."

"Hextall was brilliant, Magnum showed why he wears the C on his jersey, and Ritchie's performance was awesome. You can feel the excitement on the bench, and when that puck went in, it lifted us up and we poured shots on net. We didn't want a 4-3 win, we wanted more."
