Hextall congrats Wolves, Spyro for the win as Legion sees major changes

The Vancouver Wolves have won the cup, beating the Titans in there second finals appearance in a row. Well the loss is no doubt tough for the Titans, being on the brink of winning in two seasons in a row, the better team won, more so one of Hextall's rivals won. Jimmy Spyro and during his day with the cup Hextall paid him a visit, Hextall wanted to congratulate him in person and brought some drinks. He did ask Hextall if touched the cup at all, his answer: "Nah no way in hell could I, it would feel like cheating, it wouldn't feel right. It was tempting but It was just about celebrating one of my rival's and friend's win of the cup". Hextall said the visit was short knowing Spyro likely had many plans. Spyro is the first to win the cup out of the three goalies for the Canadian teams, Calgary has gone to finals twice with Lafontaine while Toronto has yet to make it to the finals, though they came close this playoffs, playing the third most games at 12 and being one win short of beating the Wolves to make the final. However speaking of the Legion the team has seen some big changes, McDagg has retired and Killinger and Magnum have both been traded, Hextall was apparently unwilling to waive his NTC, saying his heart is still in Toronto, that the Legion still need him, we'll cover this more soon but for now congrats to the Vancouver Wolves!!
