eaglesfan036 4,603
To say Malone's career got off to a rocky start would be an under statement, as he barely played his first season in Philadelphia, and then played his next season on a league worst Halifax team that saw him get bombarded with 50 shots against a game, something not even the greatest goalie of all time Carter Hart could work with. This year was pivotal in turning Malone's career around, as he wisely decided to refine his game in the VHLM. Malone wound up leading the league in goals against average, save percentage, and shutouts. Unfortunately this great work did not carry over into the playoffs, but the large sample size of the regular season is more encouraging to me than the wacky small sample size of the playoffs. Long Live London I need some more words so as is tradition I will talk about how great Victor is. Did you know that he once had a player called Alfie Forever, and I wrote the greatest article of all time talking about this player? mediocrepony, rory and diacope 1 2 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/95232-malone-ready-to-take-on-vhl-after-winning-vhlm-mvp-best-goalie/ Share on other sites
Admin Victor 10,940 Posted November 15, 2020 Admin Share Posted November 15, 2020 That player was technically a Jardy creation, I can't take credit. eaglesfan036 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/95232-malone-ready-to-take-on-vhl-after-winning-vhlm-mvp-best-goalie/#findComment-796150 Share on other sites
