This is Jase Hill reporing on a exciting prospect

Mike Sterling has been one of the more interesting prospects to watch throughout the S74 season as despite being a young player in the VHLM he posted surprisingly good stats with Mexico City.

Getting just below a .900 save % and a 2.82 GAA is far better than anyone thought he would do. Not to mention he posted 2 shutouts in 12 games which overall is very solid.

This season he'll have the chance to prove he is the real deal with Halifax. He has a solid lineup in front of him he is just going to have to adjust to the new role of leading a team and be more of a force this season. He is far from the best goalie in the VHLM o he'll definitely have a up hill battle in front of him.

Sterling was quoted saying "I really think we have the tools to be one of the best teams in the league for a long time"

He also likely isn't getting called up any time soon as Warsaw (the team that drafted him has Ajay Krishna who will likely be the starter in Warsaw for a long time!
