Ledge 1,131
It's been a long road this offseason for Linus Zetterstrom. Getting bounced from the playoffs in the second round stung a lot, but getting drafted in the second round by the Riga Reign more than made up for it. This upcoming season, which I believe starts on Wednesday, Zetterstrom will be back on his beloved VHLM team, the Las Vegas Aces, and he will be surrounded by familiar faces. A new team of largely first gen Aces will be on the ice next season. After studying his stat sheet this offseason, Zetterstrom concluded that he needed more offense in his game. He's been constantly working on that facet of his game, and it's slowly gotten much better. His passing is now at 77 TPE, a large amount for the VHLM level, and his scoring is at 60 TPE, which is okay but obviously needs improvement. The main part of his game, his play in the defensive zone, has really come along since his days playing minor hockey in Sweden. It is at 82 TPE, which is high for 200 TPE total, which he is at. The only downside of focusing on sole attributes is that some start to lag away from tip top shape. For example, Zetterstrom's skating, at 65 TPE, used to be a force on the ice for him. But now, it's still at 65 TPE, so it has lagged behind some of the other attributes Linus is focusing on. His puck handling has also improved a lot, going from lowly and unimportant to a strength at 67 TPE. He has also put some muscle on in his time off this summer, gaining a few pounds and increasing his strength to 50 TPE. Not a bad offseason for a first gen rookie. 294 words tcookie, diacope and JigglyGumballs 1 2 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/95332-preparing-for-s75/ Share on other sites
Crstats23 342
Good article I like the TPE breakdown to show what Z is good at and what needs improvement, next time maybe break it down to strengths and weaknesses because the information seems pushed together to me rating 8/10 Ledge 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/95332-preparing-for-s75/#findComment-796574 Share on other sites
