The VHLM season is underway, and Victor Foles of the Saskatoon Wild is making the most of it. After falling to 80th overall in the VHLM Dispersal draft, Foles returned to the Wild training camp with a vengeance and loads of skill gained over the offseason.

After the monstrosity that was last season, with Foles getting fourth line minutes and only scoring 3 goals in 30 games, and being held pointless in 5 games in the playoffs, Foles worked his butt off training and was immediately given second line minutes, which he is using to fill the opposing nets with pucks. In only six games this season, Foles had 4 goals and 3 assists for 7 points, putting him above point-per-game pace. His pre season expectation if 40 goals is looking more and more realistic. In fact, he might even hit 50 if he keeps improving his game. He also has 17 hits, proving that he has a physical side to his game.

It's been a long road in the VHLM for Victor Foles, and his hard work is starting to pay off. And when he decides to take a shot at the highest level, the Helsinki Titans will be waiting.
